Sickeningly Sweet Nails using Shleee Polish Miss Minnie and OPI

Shleee Polish Miss Minnie could very well be the best glitter topper evaaarrr!!!
Pink hexes, pink hearts, silver hearts, Mickey glitters...what's not to love???
It's super sweet so I combined it with a pink drip motif to create what I call Minnie Mouse puke.

My base is OPI Pinking of You and the drips were made using OPI Sparrow Me the Drama. I used this tutorial for the drips - it's supes easy and provides stunning results!

Colors by Llarowe Gizmo

OMG GIZMO! Colors by Llarowe makes wonderful polishes and unfortunately this polish is now discontinued but if you can swap for it or magically acquire it then DO THAT!

LOOK AT THE HOLO!

Also, look how pretty my long nails are here? Two nails broke the next day whilst moving a chair. I cried a little because it was the longest I have ever had my nails. They looked so nice! Anyway, they will grow back. Hopefully.

I am wearing 2 coats of Colors by Llarowe Gizmo in these pictures. No top coat.

Colors by Llarowe is available here

Haunted Mansion Nails with Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army

One day I envisioned this design for my nails, I didn't know how well it would turn out because I don't exactly have a steady hand when it comes to nail art but slightly wonky lines and all I love it.

The black and the teal (Wet n Wild I Need a Refresh-Mint) together remind me of the Haunted Mansion, like the patina of the exterior sign or the glow of the ghostly inhabitants.

Adding Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army topped it all off and I absolutely fell in love with my nails. The glitter lies really flat and it doesn't feel chunky or anything, either. I went without a top coat and the glitter didn't bother me at all.

I don't match my nails with my outfit but on this day the two came together awesomely - the jeans which I got at Nasty Gal are sadly no longer available.

Butter London Disco Biscuit over China Glaze Hang Ten Toes

I have always wanted Butter London Disco Biscuit. If not for the name, for the amazing pink holographicness that makes this polish so wonderful.

Truth be told, it's sheer but you probably already knew that and you probably already have this polish. If you do, then pair it with China Glaze Hang Ten Toes. It's the perfect base and will save the precious polish from wastage on the 4 necessary coats for opacity.

Take a look at this color! So pretty! I couldn't stop staring at my nails.

This ring was purchased on Etsy forever ago. It's no longer available but it's from the InsanelySweetJewelery shop. Take a look, it's awesome!

If you don't have this, buy it! If you love pink then you need this.

OPI Did It On 'Em + OPI Lights of Emerald City + Color Club Harp On It

These pictures date back to July (they kind of got forgotten) and boy do they make me want the summer!! Especially with colder temps recently. I feel like I can handle the winter weather less this year and by no means is it actually wintery out but still I can't deal.

So here's a bright colour, OPI Did It On Em from the Nicki Minaj collection, to help you think of sunnier times and warmer temps.

Although these photos were forgotten, this mani was not. I really liked it. A skittle mani of sorts. I really liked the holographic silver - Color Club's Harp On It - against the yellow-green.

On my index finger I applied INM Northern Lights and on my pinky finger I have OPI Lights of Emerald City. A fun mix for a fun colour!

Cyber Punk?? With Urban Decay and Lime Crime Makeup

Don't you just love when you wake up with a vision of what you want your makeup to look like that day? Well, I sure do! It definitely beats my regular indecisiveness.

I went with all purple eye shadow for this look and black lips. I love that combo and somehow it makes me think of cyberpunks, I don't know why.

I washed a nude shade over the lid and placed purple in the crease. This look is very much about playing with negative space.

I went with a slight bat wing eyeliner just for fun. I was really pleased with how things turned out. I love to mess around but it's an added bonus when things work out well :)

I love rocking black lips. They make me feel like one tough cookie.

What's your favourite colour combo when it comes to makeup?

Eyes
Sleek MakeUP Acid and  Dark Mattes Palette - purples
Urban Decay - Fishnet, Flash,Virgin
Wet N Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner - Black
Clinique - High Impact Mascara
Lips
Lime Crime Makeup - Styletto
Illimasqua Medium Pencil - Sophie (any black eyeliner)
Face
Physicians Formula Talc-Free Mineral Face Powder

Wonderful Wednesdays

I realize that the majority of the items featured in these posts I'll probably never buy because of their price point so, with the exception of the first item, I really embraced the sense of extravagance with this post.

I'm totally in love with this tote bag, even the inside is cute.

I haven't checked out Nasty Gal in ages but when I did I was surprised to find myself totally enamoured with the lingerie section. Umm, hello? these panties are gorgeous.

I first saw Swedish Hasbeens on bleubirdvintage a few years ago and have wanted them ever since. I don't really have any high heeled shoes of any sort but these look super comfy and cute. This is the peep toe high.

This jacket is awesome.

Have a great Wednesday!

OPI Get Your Number Liquid Sand

Oh, Liquid Sand polish! I don't know how to feel about you. Really. I just don't think we make as cute a couple as we should. If there were ever an OPI Liquid Sand with which I would fall in love, OPI Get Your Number would be it... but the sparks don't fly. It does go super well with my hot pink dress in the pictures though :)

Don't get me wrong, the colour is absolute perfection! It might be one of the nicest blues I have ever worn but I just don't like the feel or the overall look. I must say it looks very pretty here and for some people this polish is a favorite - sandyness and all - but not for me! I am wearing 2 coats here, no top coat (though a topcoat might make me like it more).

OPI Get Your Number is from the original Winter 2012 Mariah Carey Collection released in early 2013.

MAC Exclusive Event Lipstick

We picked up two lipsticks from MAC's Divine Night Collection earlier this week. We had to pick these puppies up in store as they are currently sold out online. So, if you're interested definitely get out there and search the stores! :)

Can MAC please make their packaging look like this from now on?
I love the look of the gold with the black - super classy if you ask me - but then again I'm more of a gold lady rather than a silver fan.

Exclusive Event is a really unique colour. It might scare some people off but I absolutely adore it. You must put aside any reservations you might have about the colour because chances are it will look great if not super cool.

The colour is kind of a grayed out light brown. I think it totally suits November in my opinion.

I took some inspiration from the 90s and applied a slightly darker lip liner when I wore this and I didn't hate it, hehe. It wasn't too extreme so it worked.

Have you checked out the Divine Night Collection?

Hare Polish in Party Palace

Well, this is a weird fact but there are certain nail polishes that look yummy to me. Like, seriously, I will say "Ooo I want to eat that." And that's how I felt about this polish when I first saw it.

Weirdness aside, Party Palace by Hare Polish is a really fun polish. The white and red glitter (confetti like in appearance) do evoke the sense of a party. The bright magenta base has some shimmer within it, adding to the excitement.

I paired this polish with OPI's The Color of Minnie and it was a perfect match to the red glitter bits.

I never applied a top coat but I would definitely recommend it to smooth out the Hare polish specifically and to really bring out the shimmer.

Isn't this Betsy Johnson ring the cutest? It was only five bucks from Marshall's - steal!
It encourages me to take a bite out of life while my nails inspire me to party it up. haha cheese.
