OPI My Very First Knockwurst & OPI Pink Yet Lavender

When it comes down to it, OPI puts out the most consistently excellent polishes - particularly in terms of formula. You just can't beat the quality of an OPI polish in our humble opinions.

Here I am wearing OPI My Very First Knockwurst with an accent nail of OPI Pink Yet Lavender. Both these polishes are fantastic! It's such a delicate and subtle look without being too conservative. I just loved it and normally I want rainbow holographic nails so that's saying something. OPI = Love 4Ever ;)

Red Half-Moon Mani using MAC Sherille (Alternative Festive Version)

I think there's something so classy about a half-moon mani and when you combine it with a classic red it's utter sophistication in my opinion. MAC Sherille is the perfect red.

The half-moon is easy to create using paper re-enforcers or a steady hand, if you have one. I do not.
What I especially love about the half-moon is that you don't have to worry about messing up around your cuticles :P

I made the above nails festive by dotting on some gold polish - China Glaze Ultamate Holiday. Even then it's not explicitly festive so these nails could definitely be worn throughout the year. They remind me a little of Lana's from a while back.

Snow Flake Nails

These nails aren't super festive but they definitely reflect the current weather sitch where we are...icy temps and snowfall. Even though this China Glaze polish that I used (Dandy Lion Around) is from the Spring 2013 collection I think it's perfectly suitable for winter - an icy white with subtle shimmer. I applied a silver Essie polish with a dotting tool over top.

This was the first time I had painted my nails in over a week due to studying for exams taking up my time. It was really nice to finally be able to paint them and I was really pleased with them, too.
This China Glaze is a great white; it feels really crisp and clean.

Seasonally Appropriate Red Gradient Nails using OPI and China Glaze

OPI - Stay the Night, First Date at the Golden Gate, Lost on Lombard; China Glaze - Prey Tell, Lubu Heels
I love red nails so I thought it would be fun to try doing a red gradient.

Two of the polishes (First Date and Lost on Lombard) are from OPI's San Francisco collection and they are really great. I think they're both slightly different than the typical reds you see and the formula is really nice.

I was really happy with the way the gradient turned out and it looks great with this dress :)

Seasonal nails are fun but sometimes something that isn't overtly seasonal can be fun, too.

China Glaze Glistening Snow & Ultamate Holiday {Silver & Gold}

Christmas is getting closer! So here we are with another festive manicure (complete with little bulbs and bells and everything else)!

Fun fact: China Glaze Ultamate Holiday was the first ever China Glaze I bought. I found it sometime in April at an Ulta in Port Orange, FL. It had been reduced to $0.99 and I just thought it was the prettiest gold glitter ever. Obviously I snapped it up and then had to have more China Glaze polishes! I was hooked. But Ultamate Holiday will always hold a special place in our polish cupboard and my heart.

The other polish is China Glaze Glistening Snow from their Holiday 2012 collection. I love love love silver holographic micro-glitter so this polish is a total showstopper for me. I am wearing 2 coats of each polish (most of the pictures show these polishes without topcoat for a textured effect).

Here I have topped my nails with top coat to make it all glossy and smooth! It looks ethereal.

Again, with top coat :)

Lynnderella Little Baby Sister Limited Edition over OPI In the Cable Car Pool Lane

While not explicitly Christmas-y, this manicure is very special so it warrants posting near the holidays. Lynnderella Little Baby Sister is first Limited Edition Lynnderella polish I have ever bought and currently the only one I own. It's also the most expensive polish I own but I have no shame because it might just be my favorite.

Lynnderella describes Little Baby Sister as "the newest sibling of ShapeShifter. Assorted pastel holographic hexagons, squares, stars, diamonds, hearts, moons and dots accompanied by and a few bright holographics and holographic microglitter in a clear base."

What better way to show off the beautiful pastel glitters than over a high contrast vampy raspberry? I chose OPI In the Cable Car Pool Lane from the Fall 2013 San Francisco Collection. I'm in love.

I cannot get enough of this Lynnderella over the OPI! Like most of the manicures I have posted about as of late, I couldn't stand to take it off. But, when I did decided to take it off I had no issues: Lynnderella glitter polishes are so easy to remove! It's dreamy. If you feel like splurging and can get lucky enough to actually win this polish on eBay, go for it! It's awesome <3

Chaos & Crocodiles Ferris Wheel At Dusk

Circle Glitter! It's all the rage right now. Well, it's kind of been all the rage for about 6 months now. Either way, I'm raging over this polish and circle glitter! You can check out my other  Chaos & Crocodiles mani here

This is 2 coats  Chaos & Crocodiles Ferris Wheel At Dusk over 1 coat OPI Keeping Suzi at Bay. Two amazing polishes that work like magic together in this mani. I'm so into Chaos & Crocodiles - I'm itching to get my paws on some of the newer polishes (if you read this Sarey, please ship to Canada on your big cartel site!)

CrowsToes Holly and Hellfire {Holiday 2012}

CHRISTMAS NAILS! I don't think it gets any more festive than red nails for the holidays.

Holly and Hellfire by CrowsToes is an amazingly dense glitter polish. I used one coat over China Glaze Prey Tell (a deep burgundy, almost black).

Look out for a few more holiday manicures before Christmas. This might be one of my favorites so far though. I can't tell you how many compliments I received whilst wearing this polish.

Chaos & Crocodiles Harmonious {Sheer Version}

Rainbows, and gummies, and glitter... These are a few of my favorite things. And they all come together in this extra-cute post today! If you don't already know the brand, Chaos & Crocodiles makes some of the cutest polishes out there. This is Harmonious in the Sheer Version.

I am so in love with my Betsey Johnson Candy Land Gmmy Bear Necklace. I received it last Christmas from my wonderful mom. It's one of my favorite Betsey Johnson pieces.

Can we just talk about this macro shot of Chaos & Crocodiles Harmonious Sheer for a moment?! I could stare at it all day long. I'm pretty sure I will make it my desktop background in a few minutes. WOWEE!

I don't mean to boast but I just want to say that my nails look freaking fantastic in these pictures. I love the shape and of course the polish is stunning. I think I wore this mani for about a week and a half. It's one coat layered over Wet 'n' Wild 2% Milk. THE PERFECT COMBO!

More nailporn for your eyeballs.
