Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto Cuticle Oil

For the December edition of the Polish Pickup, indie makers have come together to create nail products inspired by Holidays Around the World. Cuter Cuticles chose Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, as her inspiration for her contribution! I couldn't be more excited because I have always thought Día de Muertos to be a beautiful celebration. Sammy totally nailed the inspiration with the bottle and the scent of the cuticle oil...

Sammy has the following to say about her Pan de Muerto Cuticle Oil: "My inspiration for Pan de Muerto is a traditional sweet bread that is eaten on Day of the Dead! There are many variations but it usually includes spices like cinnamon and lots of sugar. So that's what this cuticle oil smells like, with a bit of a kick! The bottle is inspired, of course, by traditional sugar skulls and each bottle has been hand-painted and baked by myself or Mr. Sammy."

Scent Description: "Sweet and spicy with the undertone of fresh baked goods. It's enough to make you want to eat your fingers!" (But, please don't! Because then you won't be able to paint your nails without fingers). This cuticle oil comes in a 15mL or 0.5 oz bottle. Contains nut oils!

Important note: there will be cap of about 70 bottles of Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto so be ready at 11AM EST on Friday, December 1 because I imagine these will go quickly. It will be available for $8 USD in the Polish Pickup shop and once it sells out, it's gone forever.

Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto smells exactly as I would have expected and it's absolutely delicious - slightly spicy from the cinnamon and subtly sweet. You definitely get the sense of freshly baked goods, too. When I first applied it, my mom walked into the kitchen (where I was sitting) and thought I had been baking because it smells so much like a sweet and delicious baked bread. The scent does linger for a long time on your nails which I appreciate (though I always feel awkward when someone sees me sniffing my fingers). The bottle is totally adorable and a great piece for displaying in your mani cave. The glass bottle is sturdy and the eyedropper applicator is easy to use, depositing as much or as little as you need. The cuticle oil itself is incredibly moisturizing and really does improve the overall health of your nails and cuticles with consistent use. I use Cuter Cuticles oils 4-6 times a day and I barely have any breakage, peeling, hang nails and rarely have to push back my cuticles. They're so healthy and well-nourished. I can't say enough good things about Cuter Cuticles and this scent in particular.
