My Indie Polish has made magic again for the January 2018 Polish Pickup Crystals and Gemstones theme. Tanya took Rhodonite as her inspiration and created a gorgeous glitter polish.
My Indie Polish Rhodonite (15 mL, $12.50) features a blend of pewter holographic pigment and pink holographic glitters of all sizes and shapes and diamond dust shimmer gives this polish depth and light from within. This polish can be used as a topper, or sponged/dabbed on to reach opacity.
In these first few pictures I am wearing about 2 layers dabbed onto my nail and a thick top coat to bring out as much shine as possible and give it a smooth-to-the-touch finish. The application was good and this polish is surprisingly smooth even without top coat given all the glitter. That's what I love about the My Indie Polish formula!
I wanted to include some fun information about Rhodonite that Tanya passed along. This was part of the reason she chose rhodonite for her inspiration.

In the picture below I am wearing 3 coats brushed on which results in a more sparse look but gorgeous nonetheless. I like how the natural nail peeks through but sparkles with the diamond dust shimmer. I think this is my favorite way to wear it, personally.
Below, I am wearing one coat of My Indie Polish Rhodonite over Picture Polish Winter (index and middle finger) and black (ring and pinkie). I like it so much over Winter because it gives another rhodonite look and really shows off the glitter and shimmer. So cool!
Each month Polish Pickup will bring you a variety of polishes, nail care and nail art items from indie makers based on a theme voted on by you. Indie makers can pick-up and join any month they please, and all are welcome.
Shop is live the first Friday, 11 AM EST (January 5, 2017), of each month and stays open for four days, through the following Monday (January 8, 2017) at Midnight EST. This is the ONLY time frame in which the monthly polishes will be available for purchase.
All products are pre-ordered and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. Polish Pickup ships for a flat fee of $3 in the US and Canada (so cheap!). International shipping is now available at cost. Polish Pickup will combine orders placed over the 4 day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
