I have been dying to share these swatches with you because Girly Bits has, once again, knocked it out of the park with this gorgeous trio of Limited Edition nail polishes for Indie Expo Canada 2018. This year, Girly Bits has three IEC event polishes, and all are LE. They will be available online for a few months after the event beginning early July, with the exception of the thermal which will not be available on line during the summer months due to the instability of thermal pigments in the summer heat.
I'm impatient so I started with my most favorite. I mean, how could I not be fully and completely obsessed with this one?! Girly Bits The FoMo is Real is an orange to pink thermal, with a multitude of iridescent colour shifting flakes in gold, purple, pink, and green, and a kiss of holo flakes. This one is inspired by the Toronto skyline photo used on the Indie Expo website this year. The fear of missing out on this one is real, because it will not be available online until a possible re-release in the Fall. This polish is 4 free, cruelty free, and vegan friendly.
The FoMo is Real IS SO GOOD. OHMIGAWD. I love it in both states. It's hot pink when it's hot (duh!) and a neon orange when it's cold or cooler. This transitions well for me. I don't have enough good things to say about this beautiful nail polish. I am wearing two coats plus top coat. I wasn't sure if this would work in two coats but it did. The iridescent flakes show up really well and lay flat. OBSESSED.
Girly Bits Zed is a magenta to copper to green multi-chrome that shows blue and purple at the edges, with a sprinkling of prism holo flakes, and green to yellow iridescent flakes. For those who don’t know, here in Canada we say Zed at the end of the alphabet instead of Zee, which really messes up the entire rhyming part of the song! This polish is 5 free, cruelty free, and vegan friendly.
Another jaw-dropper. I am wearing two coats plus top coat. Amazing formula. The shift is reeeeeal and I'm here for all of it. I love the flakes too. This one is so beautiful and one of the nicest multi-chromes I have worn. If you like multi-chromes, you will LOVE this one. Even if you aren't a multi-chrome fan, you will LOVE Zed.
Girly Bits North of 42 is a teal green base with a slight violet to gold shift, lots of holographic sparkle, and green to blue shifting iridescent flakes in multiple sizes. Pam's hometown of Kingsville, ON is the Southernmost town in all of mainland Canada, and we sit of the 42nd parallel. 42.0363° N to be exact. If we were to split hairs, our cottage on Pelee Island in Lake Erie is the Southernmost township in all of Canada as well at 41.7745° N. This polish is 5 free, cruelty free, and vegan friendly.
I am wearing two easy coats plus top coat. This one IS SO HOLO. So holo. Your nails can never look anything but amazing in a teal-y holo and North of 42 is a knockout! If you like greens, blues or teals... this is a MUST!
The on line retail pricing on each of these will be $16.50 CAD, with a special Indie Expo show price of $15.50 each including tax. So, basically, if you're going to IEC you should buy all three because you'll be saving money in the long run *wink wink.*
