I feel really excited to be sharing this gorgeous new polish with you today. Why? Well, the amazing Paint It Pretty Polish has been accepted into the Polish Pickup for October's Villains theme! Any guesses as to which villain she chose as her inspiration? Read on to find out.
Sherri chose Bruce from Finding Nemo as her Villain. I love that choice and I really love how she took the inspiration photo and perfectly translated it into this gorgeous blue nail polish.
Paint It Pretty Polish Fish Are Friends, Not Food ($12 USD, 15 mL) is a blue base with purple/indigo Aurora shimmers, silver holo microflakes and green/blue/purple colour shifting flakes. I am seeing so many elements from Bruce in this nail polish - from his scary, bloody smile to the Ocean depths where he waits for prey. This polish has a wonderful formula, reaching opacity in two coats and drying quickly. I used top coat to bring out all the shine possible. This is easy to remove and wears really well. The next time I go somewhere tropical (if that ever happens again), I definitely want to wear this beauty of a polish. It's so Summery and the blue base looks like a tropical ocean.
This polish has a cap of 75 bottles sold.
There's an amazing vibrancy to this polish that's hard to capture in photos. You truly need to see this in person to appreciate it. The multi-colour flakes really stand out in person as well and the holo sparkles!
