Here's a fun fact about me: I love the aesthetic of tiki bars from the 1960s. I've always wanted to go to Hawaii but have not yet had the ability or opportunity. As a kid, I always loved hearing my mom's tales of her Hawaiian vacation in the late 1970s. Hopefully I will get there one day to see it for myself. Glam Polish Aloha ‘Oe is a cornflower blue crelly with contrasting pink shimmer and ultra holo glitter. The shimmer in this is mesmerizing and very visible in the bottle as well as on the nail. Despite the creamy base, the shimmer really stands out and the contrast makes it pop. A total stunner! I am wearing two coats plus top coat. There's a little texture from the glitter but top coat takes care of it completely.
Glam Polish E Komo Mai is a lavender crelly with teeny tiny iridescent flakies and ultra holo glitter. Wow. I fell completely in love with this one the minute I opened the package. The iridescent flakes are almost electric and such a unique compliment with the lavender base. What I love about this one is the formula - it's perfect with three thin coats because you get so many layers of flakes and yet it's so smooth. The holo glitter adds a nice brightness to it. You know I love anything iridescent and this polish does not disappoint. I can't wait to wear this again! As I mentioned before, three coats plus top coat which smooths it completely. The holo adds a tiny bit of texture but not much and removal is a breeze.
Glam Polish I Lava You!, is last but not least, a pink champagne blush holo with ultra holo glitter. The sparkle in this one is off the charts! This particular shade of blush works so well on me and the application was so smooth! I am wearing two coats plus top coat for a totally smooth finish. There's something really elegant and understated about this polish but it also screams party time in the right light. I can see a lot of people liking this for the Holidays or NYE. Party on!
