The polish that Tanya from My Indie Polish has created for the November Hella Handmade Creations is an extra special one because of the meaning behind it. This is the fifth polish in the Shameless-inspired series and every month I get so excited to see what Tanya will come up with. So, let's check out the November offering.
My Indie Polish Ian Is My Hero (15mL, $13 USD, capped at 150 bottles sold) is a thermal that shifts from orange to yellow with a red shimmer throughout and a touch of holo sparkle. Tanya explains that "honestly this one is very close to me. The character Ian has bipolar disorder as do I so it was imperative for me to pay tribute somehow. Ian is my hero, he literally saved my life." I have never seen Shameless but Ian is a redhead so I am thinking the colour choice is a nod to his red locks.
This polish has a nice fluid formula that applies easily in just two coats and a top coat to make it super shiny and glossy. The thermal transition is really nice and smooth. I found it transitioned easily throughout the day as I wore it.
For the new Hella Handmade Creations format, each maker picks a theme that they will follow for the next few months. Tanya of My Indie Polish has signed on to do a series for HHC inspired by the TV show Shameless. The launch for the new format will be the 14th of each month at 12:01 AM EST and the shopping window is 7 days, ending on the 21st at 11:59PM Hawaii time. The will be a pre-order each month and the expected TAT is 3-4 weeks after the shop closes for the month.
