Oh, hi! I'm just here working on the blog and belting out 80's power ballads (Celine Dion Power of Love, anyone?). Girly Bits Cosmetics has a new CoTM for May and I am so happy to see a topper as part of a CoTM duo again. I am predicting the return of toppers and glitter toppers in particular this year. Fingers crossed!
Girly Bits Smoke on the Water is a smoky amethyst base with a pink to gold colour shifting shimmer that shows a bit lime green at the edges. Sheer on the first coat but builds easily to full opacity in 2-3 coats. This builds up really well, as the description states. I am wearing three coats in my photos. A lovely and shifty smoky polish. It really does look like smoke on the water (that's also the name of a song from the 70's? or was it was the 80's?). The shimmer really comes out in low light!
Girly Bits Flake It Till You Make It! is a clear base with blue shimmer and colour shifting iridescent flakes that travel from purple to blue to lime green. This looks amazing over Smoke on the Water, as well as over black as shown on my thumb in the final picture. I am showing one coat in both cases and this topper glooooooows. The base is quite thick but it applies well and tons of flakes come out. It's wonderful and I want to try it over everything!
