It's time for another great Canadian indie brand being featured in the June Weather Phenomena Polish Pickup. Inspired by a Fire Rainbow, Paint It Pretty Polish has created a beautiful blue holo.
A Fire Rainbow is an extremely rare phenomenon that occurs when the sun is high, allowing its light to pass through the high altitude cirrus clouds with a high content of ice crystals therefore creating a rainbow effect. The Paint It Pretty Polish version of Fire Rainbow is a blue base with an assortment of holo pigments and holo microflakes. Paint It Pretty Polish Fire Rainbow will be available for $12 USD with a cap of 70 for the US and 5 for the UK shop.
The holo sparkle is just phenomenal with this polish and there is definitely a rainbow effect in the sunshine or direct bright light. I am wearing this polish in two easy coats with top coat. It does have a teensy bit of texture but the top coat takes care of that. This polish reminds me of sunshine and Summertime. It will be perfect when the sun ever comes out here in Ontario!
