I'm not rushing the season but does anyone else get a little pang of joy when they start seeing Fall colours? I'm a Fall baby so I think it's in my blood to get excited when I see oranges and burgundy shades. My Indie Polish have outdone themselves with their August Hella Handmade Creations polish. Orange polish doesn't get enough love. I personally think of it as an alternative to red: elegant but with an edge. If it's a slightly darkened orange then I am absolutely in!
My Indie Polish Sunspot ($12.50 USD, 15 mL) is a darkened orange holo perfect for late Summer and Fall. Great for pedicures, too! I am wearing two coats plus top coat. This polish has an excellent formula and the shimmer is INTENSE! The holo is really nice too. It really comes out in direct sunlight in a somewhat linear effect. Orange lovers absolutely need this polish - you'll regret it if you skip it.
For the new Hella Handmade Creations format, each maker picks a theme that they will follow for the next few months. Tanya of My Indie Polish has signed on to do a series for HHC inspired by My Little Pony (the original series!). The launch for the new format will be the 14th of each month at 12:01 AM EST and the shopping window is seven days, ending on the 21st at 11:59PM Hawaii time. The will be a pre-order each month and the expected TAT is 3-4 weeks after the shop closes for the month.
