Where did the Summer go? It's almost come to an end and that feeling of beginning again is upon us. I'm starting a new job on Tuesday so that going-back-to-school feeling is very much real for me this year. I've endured A LOT of change in the past four years so a new job almost feels like a strange form of torture I've inflicted upon myself but, in all honesty, staying in my "old job" no longer made sense. While it was familiar, the winds of change were blowing there too so change it is all around! And, just like that, I have a polish inspired by bunnies being pulled out of hats... that's a form of change, right? My Indie Polish has created a super cute crelly for the September Polish Pickup which is themed around Magic & Alchemy.
My Indie Polish The Whole Bunny Gig (15 mL, $12.50 USD) is a crelly with a light minty blue base with a very faint pink/silver shimmer and tiny hot pink glitters in a variety of sizes. As with every MIP crelly, the formula is wonderfully fluid and easy to apply. I am wearing three thin coats plus top coat. The glitters are very small so they're relatively easy to remove. I wouldn't say you need a Peel-Off Base for this one. Tanya is doing what she does best with this polish. I absolutely love the base colour and the hot pink glitters. Such a fun complimentary contrast. And the glitters are the perfect teeny tiny size. No cap for this one!
Each month, The Pickups will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme chosen by customers. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and the shop stays open for four days through the following Monday at Midnight EST. The polishes and items are exclusive to The Pickups for each month.
All products are pre-ordered (capped or uncapped) and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. The Pickups ship for a flat fee of $3 USD in the US and $5 USD to Canada. Shipping to European countries is available through The Pickups UK website. The Pickups will combine orders placed over the four day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
