Are you a fan of fairy tales? I was always fascinated by them as a child, particularly fairy tales via Disney. Snow White and The Beauty and the Beast were my favorites. I had a book that my Grandad bought me from the dollar store; it was the original version of The Little Mermaid and it was DARK. I think Ariel commits suicide in the end. Super dark. Anyway, moving on! Pam of Girly Bits Cosmetics also loves Disney fairy tales and was inspired by Tangled for her November Polish Pickup contribution (the theme is Fairy Tales, in case I hadn't made that obvious enough). I took a lots of photos of this polish so get ready.
Girly Bits Tangled ($13 USD, 15 mL) a neutral polish with flair. It's a light smoky pink-leaning lilac with a pink-gold-purple-green shifting shimmer and a dusting of holo flakes. I am wearing three coats plus top coat. This polish sent me into a bit of a frenzy because it's just so incredibly gorgeous. I've never seen a polish with so much shift. Thankfully my photos were able to capture the magic pretty well. Everything is always better in person so I am in encouraging you to buy this ;) If you're into neutrals or pinks or the movie Tangled or incredibly beautiful polishes, you are going to need Girly Bits Tangled. Currently, this polish is capped at 175 bottles but if Pam is able to source more pigment she will change the cap. This will be reflected on the Polish Pickup listing or in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group.
Each month, The Pickups will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme chosen by customers. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and the shop stays open for four days through the following Monday at Midnight EST. The polishes and items are exclusive to The Pickups for each month.
All products are pre-ordered (capped or uncapped) and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. The Pickups ship for a flat fee of $3 in the US and $5 to Canada. Shipping to European countries is available through The Pickups UK website. The Pickups will combine orders placed over the four day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
