I'm sure you're very familiar with My Indie Polish if you read my blog. Well, Tanya has always had a passion for sewing and creating gifts beyond nail polish so she opened a second online shop: Handmade Gift Canada. For the first time ever, Handmade Gift Canada will be participating in The Pickups shop. As part of the Indie Pickup, Handmade Gift Canada will be offering nail files with a large grit making them ideal for acrylics, gels and overlays. I'm sharing my thoughts about these glass nail files with you today.
The Polish Pickup and Indie Pickup "The Pickups" shop opens on January 3, 2020 and products should soon be loaded for your browsing pleasure. I'm personally very excited for this theme because who doesn't love outer space and astrology and all things cosmic.
Handmade Gift Canada (owned and operated by Tanya of My Indie Polish) is making its debut in the Indie Pickup shop for January 2020. Handmade Gift Canada is offering larger grit glass files best suited for acrylics, gels and overlays. You can grab a two pack of glass files for $10 USD. As someone with short natural nails, these nail files definitely did not work for me. The files have a very high grit which makes them ideal for acrylic or gel nails and overlays. I cannot speak to their effectiveness for non-natural nails. I am used to Czech glass nail files which are much finer and feel higher in quality.
Each month, The Pickups will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme chosen by customers. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and the shop stays open for four days through the following Monday at Midnight EST. The polishes and items are exclusive to The Pickups for each month.
All products are pre-ordered (capped or uncapped) and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. The Pickups ship for a flat fee of $3 USD in the US and $5 USD to Canada. Shipping to European countries is available through The Pickups UK website. The Pickups will combine orders placed over the four day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
