How are you doing today? Personally, I am taking it moment by moment. I am thankful to have nail polish as a nice distraction to keep my mind and hands busy throughout this pandemic. I grabbed some Cadillacquer during a recent sale (which are frequent, so follow them on IG!) and borrowed some of the polishes in this post from my nail friend @mamasmadskills (thanks, Laura!). I realize I clearly grabbed quite a few pinks and reds. While they are similar, they are different *wink wink*. Cadillacquer Solitude ($18.99 CAD | 15 mL | 3 coats) is a neon pink jelly, with metallic purple square and hexagon glitter. My photos are coming off more red than this polish is. It is a true hot pink and, like a neon hot pink, very hard to accurately capture on camera. Amazing formula. It builds up so well in three coats and looks so squishy and bright!
Cadillacquer Youth ($18.99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a vibrant pink jelly with holographic and purple shifty flakies. This, too, is coming off a little too red. It's very much a pink but darker than Solitude above IRL. Amazing formula. The flakes really stand out.
Cadillacquer Precious ($18.99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a neon red jelly, filled with blue ultra chrome chameleon flakies. This photo is colour accurate as the polish is very much a bright (almost neon) red. The flakes are so pretty and they shift in colour and lay very flat.
Cadillacquer Milky Way ($18.99 CAD | 15 mL | 3 coats) is a soft lavender jelly with matte aquamarine glitter, red Aurora shimmer and red chameleon iridescent flakies. This one is absolute perfection! The glitters and the flakes and shimmer work so beautifully together and the finish is smooth in three coats. I liked it in two coats for a sheer effect but I reached full opacity in three coats.
Cadillacquer Galaxies ($18.99 CAD | 15 mL | 3 coats) is a blackened teal jelly with glowing red/orange shimmer, green/red/pink chameleon iridescent flakies and small matte aquamarine glitter. This one speaks for itself. Look at ALL THE THINGS IN THERE. The base is the right amount of sheer to ensure that all the flakes, shimmer and glitters show through. I love love love this one. I could stare at it forever.
