Girly Bits Cosmetics is continuing her nail polish road trip across Canada for her Hella Handmade Creations that started last month in September. This month, we are headed out to Nanaimo, British Columbia. Pam was inspired by a sunset over train tracks. This one is for all my blurple lovers!

Girly Bits Sunset Express ($13 USD | 3 coats | 15 mL | 150 cap | 5 free and cruelty free) features a sheer blurple base with a violet-pink to orange shimmer, holo flakes, a scattering of colour shifting iridescent flakes in violet/pink/orange/gold, and fuchsia pink and sunset orange metallic micro glitter. I built this up nicely in three coats. I think this gave maximum glitter and flake pay off and also got the base to opacity for me. The shimmer gives this polish a sunset-like quality that feels very warm and inviting. What a pretty polish!
Since this polish is part of their Canadian Road Trip series, Girly Bits Sunset Express is inspired by a photo of the sun setting over train tracks in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Nanaimo has one of the longest shorelines in Canada, and a forested mountain backdrop just outside downtown. Here, you can go from the wilderness to the city centre in just a few minutes, and spend more time in the places you want to be. Nanaimo, BC is located on the east coast of Vancouver Island, and the city has waterfront on three sides with spectacular ocean views at every turn.
For the Hella Handmade Creations shop, each maker picks a theme that they will follow for several months. The shop will open on the 14th of each month at 12:01 AM EST and the shopping window is seven days, ending on the 21st at 11:59PM Hawaii time. The will be a pre-order each month and the expected TAT is 3-4 weeks after the shop closes for the month.
