When it comes to Fall, a lot of nail polish collections can tend toward dark, vampy shades. However, KBShimmer chose to create a Fall collection and Halloween trio that highlight the brightest colours of the season. Canadian indie nail polish shop Harlow & Co. was kind enough to send me the latest releases from KBShimmer to review: All the Fall Things, this year's Halloween trio and the new KBShimmer Tri-Level Cuticle oil. I squealed with excitement when I opened up this box of nail mail because these are my colours. I also have Blink 182 All the Small Things in my head but instead I'm singing all the fall things... 🍁 There are so many amazing shades in this release and I can't wait to share my thoughts and photos with you.

These nail polishes are available now at Harlow & Co. for Canadian and international shoppers and on the KBShimmer website for US shoppers. Each polish is $12.99 CAD on Harlow & Co. KBShimmer Glazed & Confused ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a pale, gray-leaning crelly base swimming with color-shifting flakes showing off hues of green, gold, red, orange and blue depending on your viewing angle. A hint of holo completes this shade. For such a neutral colour, this polish packs a powerful but work-appropriate punch with the flakes and holo. I was so impressed by how well this polish applied to the nail. Love. And I love doughnuts so that just adds to my passion for this polish.
KBShimmer Bittersweet Symphony ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) features a subtle taupe base that sets off a warm, ember-like shimmer. Glitters in hues of crimson and orange dance like those brazen berries. Another awesome neutral. I think the little glitters look like drops of blood so this polish is a total Halloween nail polish for me. It has a great, smooth formula. I also don't have anything else like this in my collection so I would say it's very unique.
KBShimmer Quantum Leaf ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a 2012 shade reformulated for 2020. Quantum Leaf has a rustic yellow gold color as the base of this autumn polish. A mix of large, medium, and small glitters in hues of orange, copper, gold and red mimic the warm colors of fall leaves. A gold sparkle adds extra shine, while oversized red glitters brazenly mimic the leaves of the sugar maple. When I look at this polish I just see pepperoni pizza. I was shocked by how much I liked this nail polish. The red glitters are particularly multi-dimensional. They really shine and sparkle in contrast to the base. I achieved opacity in just two coats. The polish is very easy to work with and smoothed completely with one coat of top coat.
KBShimmer Washed Up ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 3 coats) is a faded navy crelly with slight lavender hues. Small copper glitters sparkle like rivets, while navy and blue glitters dance in the denim-inspired base. I built this polish up in three coats to get full opacity. I love how beautifully the glitters compliment the base. Like a pair of blue jeans in a bottle.
KBShimmer Thyme On My Hands ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is an herb-inspired olive green cream nail polish. Wow - this polish has an incredibly smooth formula. It's a great fall shade of green and everyone needs one of those in their collection.
KBShimmer Fully Booked ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a rich olive-green hue is loaded with linear holo pigment. A very rainbow-y linear holographic nail polish in a very unique shade of green! The formula was very smooth and even. It's a bit of a dusty olive green to my eye.
KBShimmer Slay Cozy ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a warm, rusty, burnt-orange hue loaded with linear holographic pigment. Another impeccable linear holo formula with a very rainbow-y finish. I love this one!
KBShimmer Eyes on the Pies ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 3 coats) is a deep purple jelly nail polish. Flakes that shift between pink, fuchsia and orange shine through for a delectable treat for your nails. This polish is PACKED with flakes. I found it to be the only polish in the collection to give me a slight issue with application. Because there are so many flakes, I recommend applying thin coats and being patient between layers so as not to drag the previous layer of nail polish. Otherwise, the overall look is gorgeous and it smooths out nicely with top coat.
KBShimmer Foreseeable Fuchsia ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a rich, purple-leaning fuchsia polish with a blue shimmer set off by gleaming red and pink flakes. You know I love these kinds of polishes! This one reminds me of a blinged out version of China Glaze Reggae to Riches. I love the flakes in this polish and the shimmer pulls it together so nicely. One of my top picks, for sure.

KBShimmer Hey There Pumpkin ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a neon orange polish loaded with flakes that show off shades of gold and green. A hint of sparkle completes this holiday hue. Wow! This is a bright orange. I love this polish and think it's the perfect Halloween hue. Excellent formula given how densely packed with flakes this nail polish is.
KBShimmer Could Had A Bad Witch ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) is a grape purple is loaded with color-shifting flakes that magically shift from hues of green and aqua, to fiery red, gold, and orange. A hint of holo sparkles like magic for a perfectly festive polish best in 2 coats. Like the Endless Summer collection, this polish feels like a Halloween sibling. I love the name and there is just something very Halloween-y about this colour.
KBShimmer Bugs & Kisses ($12. 99 CAD | 15 mL | 2 coats) s a nod to those things that slither in the night. A deep black base sets off colour-shifting flakes in burnt orange, gold, green and red. A scattering of micro holo flakes adds a hint of sparkle to this spooky shade. Wow - this is spooky nail polish! The flakes really stand out against the black base which is very black. I love an interesting black nail polish and Bug & Kisses definitely delivers.
I am also currently testing out the new KBShimmer Tri-Level Cuticle Oil which contains three levels of moisture. This amazing cocktail for your nails and cuticles uses moisturizing oils and humectants to help rehydrate your skin and nails, including: Glycerin, Grape Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Mineral Oil. I like my cuticle oils to have Jojoba Oil so I will let you know on Instagram in a few weeks how I like this oil.
