  Provided for review

As we move through the Winter months and continue to wrestle with the COVID-19 pandemic, I am finding joy in the February Polish Pickup theme: World Travelling and Landmarks. It's been years since I've been on a vacation (five but who's counting) so I am travelling vicariously through these nail polishes.

Anyway, let's talk about the Polish Pickup. I will soon have a live swatch video on my YouTube channel for those who want to see how these polishes apply in real time. These polishes will be on sale February 5 through midnight EST on February 8, 2021.

Would you like to see how some of these polishes looks on skin tones other than mine? Check out:

And now it's time to check out some of the pretty polishes on offer for February 2021.

Polish Pickup February 2021 swatches

Girly Bits Dreams Down Under

Girly Bits Dreams Down Under ($13 USD | 15 mL | 3 coats | 200 bottle cap) is an aqua crelly filled with circle glitters in all the beautiful sunset colours. Pam was inspired by a beautiful beach scene in Australia. With Girly Bits' new paddle brush, application is a dream. I probably could have left it at two coats but I was having so much fun with the glitters, I couldn't help myself. There are A TON of glitters in here so there is no need to fish around. So many come out on the brush with every dip. One of the most plentiful crellies I've ever used.

Paint It Pretty Polish Hit the Slopes

Paint It Pretty Polish Hit the Slopes ($12 USD | 15 mL | 2 coats | cap of 100 US and 10 UK) is inspired by skiing in Whistler, BC. This polish is a blue to purple thermal packed with iridescent flakes in gold/green/pink and orange/yellow/green. I am in looooove. I applied this in two coats. It has a wonderful formula and builds up beautifully. The thermal transitions quickly and it looks amazing matte or glossy as you can see.

Nailed It! Hawaii Heiwa swatch

Nailed It! Hawaii Heiwa ($13 USD | 15 mL | 3 coats | 300 bottle cap) is a blurple jelly base packed with copper/red/green crystal flakies, and a touch of holo flakies. Heiwa means peace is this polish is inspired by Arakura Fuji Sengen-Jinja Shrine in Japan. This one is packed with flakes and they really glow. This polish has a great formula and I loved it with a matte or glossy top coat as you can see here.

Treo Lacquer Beyond the Infinite

Treo Lacquer Beyond the Infinite ($13 USD | 15 mL | cap of 160 bottles) is an aurora shimmer topper that shifts between pinks, oranges, yellows and greens. It was inspired by the Stargate sequence in 2001: A Space Odyssey. I chose to wear this in a variety of ways: one coat over black on my pinky; two coats on its own on my ring finger; two coats over black on my middle finger; three coats on its own on index finger. And can we take a moment to appreciate how shifty this polish is? You can really see the magic in my video. I love this topper and want to try it over everything.

Treo Lacquer Roadside Rex

Treo Lacquer Roadside Rex ($13 USD | 15 mL | 3 coats | cap of 160 bottles) is a blue to green thermal filled with red to green to gold aurora shimmer. It was inspired by the World's largest Dinosaur roadside attraction in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. Okay so two things to know about me: I love dinosaurs and I love road trips. While I have never seen a roadside dinosaur attraction, it is on my bucket list of life. This nail polish doesn't quite fulfil that bucket list but since it's a pandemic and I can't leave my house, it will suffice until I can see a real live dinosaur roadside attraction. And it does more than suffice... it's stuns! I love this polish. It bright a smile to my face immediately and that shimmer is amazing. I found the formula was thin and I kept flooding my cuticles but work in thin coats and you will be okay. Don't overload your brush is the lesson here. But also the lesson is I love this nail polish and you should not miss it.

My Indie Polish Boa Noite

My Indie Polish Boa Noite ($13 USD | 15 mL | 3 coats | 100 bottle cap) is inspired by Portugal. This is a pewter to steel blue gray thermal accented with a flurry of flakies is so many shapes and sizes and shades. The formula on this polish is sheer but that allows the flakes to really shine through. It transitions really easily and smoothly. Tanya has changed the formula since creating the polish I swatched so it will be more opaque (approximately 33% more opaque) that the version I swatched.
