I have a backlog of polishes I received through the Polish Pickup to share with you all. Is anyone else in the same boat? Are you a Polish Pickup fan? I love the Polish Pickup because it introduces me to new brands like Poetry Cowgirl! This gorgeous polish I'm sharing today was part of the August Polish Pickup and the theme was Old Hollywood. How glam!
Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Frankly, My Dear can be described as a black jelly packed with red/orange/gold UCC flakies, iridescent chameleon glitters, silver holo micro glitters, and a red flash. It is inspired by the film Gone With the Wind and it beautifully captures a smoldering flame with the flakies and black jelly base.
I am wearing three thin coats plus top coat. I really liked how this applied because it was easy in spite of all the flakies and glitters. It dries relatively smoothly but top coat is a must to bring out the shine though I imagine a matte top coat would look awesome too. This is very vampy and sexy and perfect for Fall. This polish wore really well for the few days I had it on. I also didn't get tired or bored with it which is a good sign for me. I will absolutely wear this again and I know my mom was itching to wear it too :)
