It's the Holiday season which means glitz, gold and glamour! Girly Bits is participating in the December Polish Pickup which is themed around Holidays Around the World. The holiday that Girly Bits chose is Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights!
Girly Bits Festival of Lights is inspired by Diwali which is the Hindu festival celebrated every year in the fall in the northern hemisphere (spring in the southern hemisphere) and signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. Its celebration includes millions of lights shining on housetops, outside doors and windows, around temples and other buildings in the communities and countries where it is observed.
Girly Bits Festival of Lights is a sparkling base of golden metallic microflakes and gold shimmer, teeny tiny holographic particles, rose gold shimmer, iridescent and metallic colour shifting flakes in violet, pink, gold, green and purple.
Two coats plus top coat for me. This smooths totally with top coat and removal requires a bit of scrubbing but nothing compared to a glitter. This is LOVELY. So sparkly. So multifaceted. So perfect.
If you are not familiar with the Polish Pickup, here is a run-down:
Each month Polish Pickup will bring you a variety of polishes from indie makers based on a theme voted on by you. Indie makers can pick-up and join any month they please, and all are welcome.
Shop is live the first Friday, 11 AM EST (December 1, 2017), of each month and stays open for four days, through the following Monday (December 4, 2017) at Midnight EST. This is the ONLY time frame in which the monthly polishes will be available for purchase.
All polishes are pre-ordered and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. Polish Pickup ships for a flat fee of $3 in the US and Canada (so cheap!). International shipping is now available at cost. Polish Pickup will combine orders placed over the 4 day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
