I have been waiting (impatiently) to wear neons and now that Spring is FINALLY here I think it's high time for some neon nails. Luckily enough, Beyond the Nail is releasing their Soft Neon Collection for Spring 2018 on March 25. The collection contains four perfect faded fluorescent shades to spice up your spring look. Dream about warmer weather while applying these creamy shades. These neon pastels pack a powerful punch of colour, and they glow under blacklight for extra fun.
All four of these had the same formula which I discuss after the swatches so read on if you're in the mood for some fun neons!
Beyond the Nail Blazing Blush is a delicate pink shade with a hot pink attitude. This pink made my hands look as if I'd been on a tropical vacation when in reality they're super pale from Winter. So bright and pretty!
Beyond the Nail Charged Lilac is pale purple shade with an undercurrent of ultraviolet. Another lovely shade that is all at once bright and soft. It's my favorite kind of lilac.
Beyond the Nail Electric Peach is a peaches-and-cream shade with a neon orange flair. This one is giving me serious Summer vibes and reminds me of some of my favorite neon peach shades for Summer. This is probably my favorite in the collection because it's just the perfect neon peach.
Beyond the Nail Sizzling Sky is a bleached sky blue shade with a hint of fluorescent blue. Last but not least is this amazing bright blue that looks like a tropical blue sky. I really need a vacation, can you tell? Gorgeous!
In terms of formula, I needed three coats for full opacity and top coat to even them all out. I would recommend waiting at least 5 minutes between coats and before top coating. The dry time was a little longer than I'm used to but overall the formula was good and these polishes do pack a punch. They are super fun and bright while also being soft for Spring.
