I have been a Polish Pickup Packer since Day One. I love the concept, I love the creativity and I love the flat rate affordable shipping to Canada. I've got swatches I photographed MONTHS ago from the October Monsters & Mythical Creatures theme. Let's begin.
This vampy, sparkly, wine-y polish is Chirality Polish 1984, inspired by Stranger Things Season 2. Chriality Polish 1984 is described as a blackened polish filled to the brim with red shimmer and holographic sparkle.
That's not an understatement! This polish is loaded with sparkle the comes through the base. It has an overall look of pinky burgundy. I am wearing two coats plus top coat. This does dry with some texture but the top coat completely smoothed it for me. This is also my first experience with Chirality and I'm thoroughly impressed!
Next up is Colores de Carol Hydra of Lerna is what I would describe as a dark grey holographic with violet shimmer and iridescent as well as multichrome flakies. This is yet another grey that I totally love. The formula is buttery and the flakes really show through. I really love the violet shimmer in here and I am totally getting some medusa vibes! I am wearing three coats plus top coat. I am becoming a big Colores de Carol fan after trying their polish the first time through the Polish Pickup.
Third is another brand I am falling in love with: Lollipop Posse. This is Lollipop Posse Nothing Ends and I love that name and I'm obsessed with the polish. This is inspired by The Last Unicorn movie. It is described as an inky blue-based polish with strong red duo-chrome shimmer, sparse holo flecks, and red/gold/bronze UCC flakes. I am wearing three coats plus top coat. The formula is sheer but in the best possible way. It builds up so easily and is completely buttery.
Can you look at that shimmer? And those flakes?! I love big flakes and I cannot lie. My goodness, when I see the little holo flecks in the pictures below I see the galaxy and stars and oh my gosh I love it so much.
Lastly is a rather subdued polish from Turtle Tootsie Polishes called Gone Sasquatchin. This is inspired by the mythical Sasquatch and it's so elegant for a polish inspired by a beast. This is described as a light brown linear holo that shifts peach and has assorted pink and purple flakies throughout. This is lovely. I am wearing two coats and top coat. The formula is great and I really appreciate the consistency of Turtle Tootsie's formulas. I am a fan!
