There's nothing I hate more than peeling nails. Sadly, it happens to the best of us - including me! In my case, my nails peel and then break a few days later because they're so weakened. When I heard about the Essie Treat Love & Colour line of nail polishes, I had to try a few to see if the claim of a strengthening nail polish was true. Oh, I should probably also mention it's a one-step system... almost too good to be true, right?
The Essie Treat Love & Colour line of nail polishes claims to provide stronger nails in just one week.
The Essie Treat Love & Colour polishes is their first advanced 1-step strength and color in a collection of knockout nail polish shades. The claim is stronger nails in just 1 week: 60% less peeling and 35% less breakage.
I never like to have naked nails for two reasons:
1. in the words of Zooey Deschanel, "I don't like plain nails. I get sad."
2. my nails peel like a banana when they're unpolished
I am super in love with the Treat Love & Colour polishes for two reasons:
1. if my nails are naked and I don't have time for a multi-step mani (base, colour, top coat)... the Essie TLC polishes make for the fastest mani ever and my nails looks great and dry in 10 minutes.
2. when I removed the Essie TLC polish, my nails looks a lot more moisturized than with regular nail polish. They felt cared for and were protected in just one coat.
There's also a colour for everyone in the Essie TLC line. In these photos, I am wearing Essie Treat Love & Color in Mauve-tivation (the darker shade) and Power Punch Pink (the lighter pink). There are lots of classic sheer pink shades, as well as bolder pinks, blues, peaches, purples and even a clear coat that will be perfect for those who don't want colour but want their nails protected against peeling and breakage.
