A non-nail polish post! Yes, it's true. I have some swatches of my Clionadh Cosmetics collection of pressed pigment eyeshadows (though most of these are also safe for face and body). I have had the pleasure of meeting the two talented and beautiful sisters behind Clionadh Cosmetics at Indie Expo Canada 2017 and 2018 as well as at the Toronto Nail Girls Meetup. I love how all of their products are cruelty-free, vegan and made in Toronto with love and so much creativity.
The top swatch is Clionadh Cosmetics Garnet, a gorgeous jewel-toned eyeshadow with a vampy burgundy base, red reflects and micro sparkle. It's so richly pigmented and buttery. There is barely any fallout when applied to the eye and it lasts 8 hours for me with a good primer. This is so beautiful and would love amazing as some sort of vampy smoky eye or "crack eye" a la Jessica Haze.
The bottom swatch is a Clionadh Cosmetics one-off eyeshadow so it's a one of a kind but there are tons of other similarly gorgeous one-offs on their website which usually retail for $12.00 CAD. When swatched, it picks up several of the colours (mostly the lighter and darker blues) and it is perfectly smooth and highly pigmented. I haven't worn this on my eyes yet but I can't wait! It looks like clear turquoise Ocean waters in the swatch.
In the first and last photo below, I have swatched all the Clionadh Cosmetics I own. From Left to Right they are:
Clionadh Cosmetics One-Off (reviewed above)
Clionadh Cosmetics Garnet (also reviewed above)
Clionadh Cosmetics Prosecco (one of my favorites to swipe over the lid with a simple cat eye and mascara)
Clionadh Cosmetics Shroom (another gorgeous neutral but with a green shift)
Clionadh Cosmetics Sol (a really cool golden yellow that looks really flattering with my pale cool-toned skin also with a green shift)
