Pink is always my favorite. And iridescent flakes are also a favorite nail polish feature of mine. For the June Hella Handmade Creations shop, Girly Bits has created another Harry Potter inspired polish with two of my favorite things (pink and iridescent flakes)!
Girly Bits Addicted to Love features a sheer cool pink base with a strong red/violet to gold shifting glass fleck shimmer, a soft holo, and pink-gold-green colour shifting iridescent flakes. This polish is inspired by the scene from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince where Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley are looking at the love potions at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.
I am wearing three thin coats plus top coat. This builds up really well but applying it in thin coats is the way to go to maximize the flakes and shimmer! I am always in the mood for an ethereal pink and this one fits the bill. No issues whatsoever with application or removal. There is almost a lilac cast to this pink because it's so cool. I really love it and it works well with my skin tone. I am also super into the large quantity of iridescent flakes. SO MANY!
For the new Hella Handmade Creations format, each maker picks a theme/series that they will follow for the next few months. Pam of Girly Bits has signed on to do a series for HHC inspired by Harry Potter. The launch for the new format will be the 14th of each month at 12:01 AM EST and the shopping window is 7 days, ending on the 21st of each month at 11:59PM Hawaii time. The will be a pre-order each month and the expected TAT is 3-4 weeks after the shop closes for the month.
