Can you believe they've been in the indie biz for seven years?!
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Tanya has created two all new crellies which are her specialty. I respect and admire Tanya's tenacity and vision in an "indie" landscape that looks a lot differently than in 2011. My Indie Polish knows how to make a great polish and this new duo is no exception! This duo is very limited, as in around 25 of each polish. The polishes release on October 12, 2018 individually for $14CAD or as a set for $25CAD.
The first polish I'm sharing is My Indie Polish Landslide, inspired by the iconic song. Here's what Tanya has to say about this polish:
We have changed so much. But we also haven’t changed that much. We’ve held onto our core beliefs. When things didn’t go right, we pulled everything apart and put it back together again. And I can honestly say I feel so blessed to still be here seven years later. We didn’t do it alone - we had so much help from so many amazing people... customers, friends, people we really look up to in the business, other makers... we wouldn’t be here without you.
My Indie Polish Landslide is a dusty orchid rose crelly. We added heaps of super fine holographic gold glitter, gold fuschia to bronze flakies and a bit of shimmer. This one shocked me by it's complexity. I kind of though it was just a creme base but then when I got it on my nail the magic happened. You can really see all the flakes and glitter on the nail. I did two coats plus top coat for a gorgeous finish. Landslide will be $14 CAD.
The second polish is My Indie Polish Create Your Own Spark is a prugly (pretty/ugly) brown green with tons of UP sister pigment with a gold to green to bronze shift as well as various orange holographic glitters and scattered holographic pigments. My favorite of the trio! How could it not be with that beautiful shimmer and vampiness?! I am wearing two coats which gave me a ton of shimmer and glitter. The finish is quite smooth considering the glitters but top coat brings back the shine and smoothness we all desire. Absolutely perfect for Fall with that dark brown/green base.
