BLUSH Lacquers has become one of my favorite brands because of the reliably wonderful formula, the wide brush and creative creations (redundant but my brain isn't working after a looooong week). America! was Victoria's creation for the August Polish Pickup Musicals theme.
BLUSH Lacquers America! was inspired by West Side Story, specifically the scene where they are performing the song America, and the women's dresses in that scene. America! is a lavender jelly base with a purple to blue shifting microflake shimmer, larger red to orange to gold shifting flakes and scattered holo.
This is two coats plus top coat. The shimmer and the flakes are such an interesting contrast against the lavender base. I really like how delicate this is but still so intriguing on the nail. I always look forward to what BLUSH will make for the Polish Pickup each month.
