Mmmmm... minty! For the February Hella Handmade Creations shop, Girly Bits has made a minty green confection for our nails. It might be the most perfect mint green I've ever worn. This polish continues the Harry Potter series.
Girly Bits A Loss of Innocence ($13 USD, 15 mL) is a pale minty green with colour shifting shimmer, white flakes and a sprinkling of darker flecks. Inspired by Hedwig and her extreme loyalty to Harry, and especially her heartbreaking death. We all cried. Such a sweet tribute to such a sweet character. Honestly, this polish is so stunning. I am wearing three thin coats plus top coat. Perfect application, smooth finish and easy removal. If you like minty shades, you will love this. I love how soft and ethereal it is.
A Loss of Innocence is 5-free, cruelty free, vegan and there will be a cap of 95 bottles sold. So, if you want this one you best act quickly!
For the new Hella Handmade Creations format, each maker picks a theme that they will follow for the next few months. Tanya of My Indie Polish has signed on to do a series for HHC inspired by the TV show Shameless. The launch for the new format will be the 14th of each month at 12:01 AM EST and the shopping window is 7 days, ending on the 21st at 11:59PM Hawaii time. The will be a pre-order each month and the expected TAT is 3-4 weeks after the shop closes for the month.
