Have you ever belted out a song only to be told you've got the lyrics wrong? My sister always jokes about how I enlighten her to the correct lyrics of a song because lyrics are my thing. I'm a music lover and lyrics are usually what hook me on a song. One of the polishes in the new Girly Bits Cosmetics Misheard Lyrics Collection is "Tony Danza" which I definitely thought was the actual lyric in Elton John's Tiny Dancer for many years as a child. Thankfully we now have Google and can easily find the lyrics to a song in the blink of an eye.
This collection of six bright matte shimmers and one colour shifting glitter topper was inspired by funny misheard lyrics. These polishes are glowy and velvety when worn matte and a glossy top coat brings the sparkle to life! The formula on all of these polishes is fantastic! All of my swatches show two coats that have dried down to their natural matte finish. I also show each polish with one coat of Girly Bits Tony Danza, the topper for the collection which makes the polish glossy and adds the iridescent sparkle. Great dry time on these and they hold up well without top coat - I got two days before any tip wear appeared but if you want to add even more longevity in the matte state, I recommend applying Girly Bits Polish Matte'rs for a longwearing matte finish.

Last but not least, I wanted to show Girly Bits Tony Danza on its own over black so you can really see the shift in the glitters. Girly Bits Tony Danza is a clear based topper with iridescent red to orange to green colour shifting glitters, and a sprinkle of red to copper to green colour shifting shimmer. This is not a matte finish. To keep the matte finish over any of the shimmers in this collection, top with Polish Matte’rs matte top coat. (Hold me closer Tony Danza / Tiny Dancer / Elton John). My photo shows one coat over a black creme plus top coat.
