Opal nail polish from Paint It Pretty Polish! There's a special story behind this polish and I'm happy to share it with you. I've been swatching for Paint It Pretty Polish for at least a year now and I feel madly in love with her polish Unicorn in Disguise. I asked if Sherri could make an opal nail polish that resembled Unicorn in Disguise in its warm state (it's a thermal nail polish)... and here it is! I also had the pleasure of naming this polish. This polish is releasing as the October Paint It Pretty Polish of the Month because opal is the October birthstone.

Paint It Pretty Polish Light in the Dark will retail for $11 CAD and will be available on the PPP website on October 1, 2019. This polish is limited edition so grab it in October before it's gone. I am wearing three coats plus top coat. This polish is PACKED with flakes so make sure to let the polish dry a bit between layers. I am in love with this polish and its definitely the most opal-like polish I own with the shimmer and flakes. I'm a huge opal fan so having a polish like this makes me really happy. I think this would also be awesome layered over a sheer white crelly of some sort (I'm thinking an OPI soft shade or Essie Marshmallow).
