What a time to be alive. I am grateful but scared as I'm sure many of you are. There is no predictability anymore and life as we know it is forever changed. I want to keep blogging for anyone who might be reading and for my own mental health. Polish Pickup is continuing for April 2020 with the Aquatic Wonder theme and Girly Bits Cosmetics has created a nail polish and matching glitter globe pen.
Girly Bits You Look Marble'ous ($13 USD | 15 mL | no cap) is an intentionally sheer polish featuring an aqua blue base with a glowing aqua blue shimmer that has hints of green and violet visible at certain angles. The polish also has a small amount of glowing iridescent blue flakes. I am wearing three coats and it is best to let the polish dry as much as possible between coats to avoid dragging. As you can see from my photos, this polish really glows. It's a perfect spring shade of aqua and the flakes make it really special. I had no issues with application or removal.
This polish was inspired by the marble caves of Patagonia. Pam really captured the clear blue water reflected in the caves. What a magical place to visit!
For the Aquatic Wonder Polish Pickup shop, Girly Bits is also offering a matching Glitter Globe Pen ($7.50 USD | 120 US/15 UK cap) loaded with blue glitters, iridescent glitters, circle glitters and holographic glitters. This pen is refillable which makes it an environmentally friendly option. The barrel of the pen is multi-chrome and the pen tip twists out at the base. The ink is black. I love Girly Bits' pens - they make me so happy!
Each month, The Pickups will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme chosen by customers. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and the shop stays open for four days through the following Monday at Midnight EST. The polishes and items are exclusive to The Pickups for each month.
All products are pre-ordered (capped or uncapped) and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. The Pickups ship for a flat fee of $3 in the US and $5 to Canada. Shipping to European countries is available through The Pickups UK website. The Pickups will combine orders placed over the four day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
