The day I swatched this nail polish was a good day. It turns out Paint It Pretty Polish created the nail polish of my dreams that I never knew I needed. This gorgeous nail polish you've laid your eyes upon is Sherri's contribution to the Aquatic Wonder Polish Pickup for April 2020. I will promise not to fawn over this polish too much but I'm super in love with it and who doesn't need an excuse to be excited and happy right now? I hope you're taking care and staying sanitized as we all cooperate to get through this pandemic together.
Paint It Pretty Polish Little Wonders ($12 USD | 15 mL | 70 cap) is a pearly almost white taupe with a pink-to-red-to-gold shifting shimmer packed with the perfect amount of teeny tiny gold colour-shifting flakes and holographic sparkle. I am wearing two coats and yes, this is the dreamiest polish ever. The polish has an absolutely perfect formula and while I described it as pearly it's not at all streaky or problematic. This nail polish was inspired by Sherri's own "aquatic wonder." Here is her story: "Last year when doing the monthly filter clean for our tank, we found six baby fish living in the bottom. We managed to get a baby tank set up to save them and today they just happen to be one year old." What a fun polish to celebrate their birthday!
Each month, The Pickups will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme chosen by customers. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and the shop stays open for four days through the following Monday at Midnight EST. The polishes and items are exclusive to The Pickups for each month.
All products are pre-ordered (capped or uncapped) and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. The Pickups ship for a flat fee of $3 in the US. Shipping to Canada varies by weight and starts at $6 USD for 1-3 bottles of polish. Shipping to European countries is available through The Pickups UK website. The Pickups will combine orders placed over the four day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
