Moving along with the Paint It Pretty Polish Pretty Polish of the Month birthstone series for 2019/2020 is Friday's Stone which is inspired by the June birthstone Alexandrite. There are three gorgeous birthstones for June (pearl and moonstone are the other two) but Sherri chose Alexandrite which was only recently discovered in the grand scheme of the universe. That's pretty cool! Apparently Alexandrite is also known as Friday's Stone, or the stone of “Friday's Child.” Paint It Pretty Polish's interpretation of Alexandrite is spot on so let's check out the swatches.

Paint It Pretty Polish Friday's Stone ($11.50 CAD | 15 mL | 3 coats) is inspired by the Alexandrite birthstone for June is a teal/blue/purple multichrome with matching flakes. I love love love the shift in this - it's totally captivating and really captures the look of the gemstone. The formula is excellent and you want to build it up in three coats to get maximum flakeage (I made that term up) and shiftiness.
