Who is ready for some Halloween-inspired nail polishes?! I am always down for Halloween anything but especially nail polish. The theme for the September Polish Pickup is All Hallow's Eve/Halloween. As a certified Halloween lover (yes, I've certified myself), this month's Polish Pickup is VERY exciting. I already have a ton of polishes on my wishlist and I would really love an "add all to cart" option. My wallet would not.
As I say every month - because it's true and I mean it - My Indie Polish, Girly Bits and Paint It Pretty Polish made absolutely gorgeous nail polishes. I have reviews and photos below and if you would like to see these polishes being applied to my nails, check out my YouTube channel. The September Halloween Polish Pickup shop will open on September 4 and close at midnight EST on September 7.

Girly Bits Basic Witch (3 coats | $13 USD | 15 mL | no cap | 5 free & cruelty free) is a flakie-filled thermal that easily transitions from a deep dark blurple to a pale dusty lilac. As Pam of Girly Bits explains, "it's is the perfect transition from summer to... March 189th." In the photos I show it both top coatted for a glossy finish and matte (below in the last two photos). This formula is excellent. The flakes GLOWWWW in the most eerie yet beautiful way possible. I love this polish in the cold state, hot state and in between! I think this polish is anything but basic. Now where is my PSL?
My Indie Polish Kiss Me, It's Halloween ($13 USD | 2 coats | 15 mL | 75 US/5 UK cap) is a mauve-y brown jelly with a wide variety of glitters and flakies, inspired by Halloween Kisses candy. I think this is a really unexpectedly fun polish. The browny base contrasts nicely with the multi-coloured glitters. It reminds me of candy and the wonderful memories of trick or treating.
Paint It Pretty Polish Witch Way to the Candy? ($12 USD | 2 coats | 15 mL | 90 USD/10 UK cap) is a black base with a red aurora shimmer, bronze shifting flakes and a holo finish. Wow! Another exceptionally smooth and easy-to-apply formula. I love the rainbow flash you see in this polish. The shimmer is such a nice accent and you really see it in different angles and low light as I've captured below. If you're into brown nail polishes or love holographic, then this polish is a must have! It's super unique and absolutely beautiful.
Each month, The Pickups will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme chosen by customers. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and the shop stays open for four days through the following Monday at Midnight EST. The polishes and items are exclusive to The Pickups for each month.
All products are pre-ordered (capped or uncapped) and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. The Pickups ship for a flat fee of $3 in the US and shipping to Canada is based on weight and starts at $6 USD. Shipping to European countries is available through The Pickups UK website. The Pickups will combine orders placed over the four day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
