Summer is nearing its end so I have to share all my summer colours while they're relevant. This is my first ever nail polish from Blush Lacquers and I'm in love. Let's get onto the many pictures of this gorgeous shimmery shift holo polish.
I'll get this sad news out of the way: Blush Lacquers Snail Shells and Mermaid Tails was an Exclusive polish to the Polish Pickup and is no longer available. Sorry! Blush Lacquers participates almost every month in the Polish Pickup so you have many more chances to try these gorgeous lacquers in the future.
Blush Lacquers Snail Shells and Mermaid Tails is described as having a light blue base with a green-blue-purple shifting shimmer and a linear holo. I am wearing three thin coats plus top coat. The formula is FANTASTIC. I wore this for over a week and barely had any tip wear at all. No chips, nada. I am thoroughly impressed. I also adore the Blush Lacquers brush; it reminds me of the Dior brush which I find very easy to use and gives me great results with my application.
I have to say that the blue-purple shifting shimmer stole my heart. You can really see it above in the artsy mirror photo. I love how this polish appears as a baby blue in some lighting and a periwinkle lilac in others. No matter what angle you catch it at, it's just beautiful!
I love how the Polish Pickup has introduced me to so many awesome new brands. There's also something really fun about having a chance to submit an idea for the monthly theme and vote on your favorite. The $3 flat rate shipping to Canada is a major bonus as well.
This last photo gives a really good sense of the shift which I was able to capture at a very extreme angle. In real life, the shift is very apparent. Count me in as a Blush Lacquers fan!
