I'm all about the black nails right now. The darker the better and it seems like Different Dimension has totally won the black nail polish game.
Different Dimension Dorothy Dandridge was part of the August Old Hollywood Polish Pickup. In case you didn't know, Dorothy Dandridge was an actress, singer and dancer best known for being the first African-American actress to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the 1954 film Carmen Jones. She's a badass and totally gorgeous.
As for the nail polish, Dorothy Dandridge is a black jelly base scattered with silver holographic micro flecks. I wore 2 coats and top coat on my short nails but I imagine you'd need 3 coats if your nails were longer. I love how squishy and black and smooth this polish is. The flakes lay so flat and yet offer so much dimension. This is no longer available.
