I am ringing in the New Year with more Girly Bits Cosmetics! And this time it's the January 2018 Colours of the Month which are the two monthly Limited Edition polishes created by Pam and named by fans. Both of these polishes are 5-Free, cruelty free and vegan. The January duo is something special so brace yourselves...
First up is Girly Bits Blue Year's Resolution (15mL, $16.50 CAD) is described as a blurple holographic base with teal to purple to blue colour shifting shimmer and tiny blue/green glitters that come off looking turquoise to the eye. This one is such a chameleon! It looks like a cornflower blue overall to me but it shifts to denim blue to aqua and lilac at extreme angles. I really love this one and it's endlessly entertaining!
I am wearing 3 thin coats and top coat. While there are tiny glitters in here, they are very smooth to the touch. It's so beautiful and perfect for Winter.
The second Colour of the Month is Girly Bits Act Your Sage (15mL, $16.50 CAD) which is described as having a murky greyish green base with a slight blue shine, iridescent blue flecks, tiny holographic glitters and tiny gold flecks. Another shifting chameleon polish that just glows. I have absolutely nothing like it in my collection and it's so uniquely beautiful.
I am wearing 3 thin coats and top coat. I could have gotten away with 2 coats for daily wear but photography! The glitters in here lay flat as well just like in Blue Year's Resolution. I'm really loving this polish and have a feeling a lot of you will agree.
