It might not be July anymore but the two Girly Bits I've got to show you are amazing and you will be able to order them up until September 1st! The duo for July is really special in my opinion - you've got a magnetic and a glitter polish. Let's check them out, shall we?
Girly Bits I've Got My Ion You is a green magnetic polish with with golden green aurora shimmer (aka unicorn type pigment but not UP) and a gold to pink/red magnetic sheen. This polish is 5-Free, cruelty free, and vegan. Magnet is not included in the sale price of $16.50 CAD.
I am wearing two coats (one coat then the second coat which I magnetized). This is STUNNING! I love the contrast of the gold magnetic stripe with the green base. It would be perfect for the Holidays even though no one wants to think about that because it's August and Summer is still alive and well as I sit in my bathing suit typing up this blog post.
A note from Pam about application: "I recommend applying one coat and not magnetizing it, and letting it dry down. Then apply a second coat and magnetize it by holding a strong magnet as close to the surface of the nail as possible, for 10-15 seconds. Do this one nail at a time. The magnet needs to be used on very wet polish to get the full effect. The polish needs to be wet in order to allow the magnetic particles to move through the polish."
Girly Bits does not currently have a magnet available for sale, but they are expecting the shipment in August.
The second half of the July CoTM duo is Girly Bits Dime and Dash, a holo glitter bomb with colour shifting glitters in orange green and blue, and blue metallic micro glitter. It is dense and offers full coverage in two coats with a smooth and easy application. This one is 4-free, cruelty free, and vegan. It is available for $16.50 CAD on the Girly Bits website.
I did just use two coats plus a layer of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze to finish it off. The top coat took care of any texture and this is surprisingly smooth for such a dense glitter bomb. What I love most are the colour-shifting glitters because they really make this baby unique. If you like bling... this one is for you! I also think this would be perfect for NYE though I am not sure why I keep mentioning the Holidays. Somebody stop me!
