Girly Bits Remember My Name ($13 USD, 15 mL, no cap) is a grape purple magnetic polish with a pink to violet magnetic sheen and colour shifting flakes in green to blue to gold, blue to purple to pink, and pink to green.
I am wearing two coats plus top coat. I applied one layer, let that dry and then a second layer and immediately magnetized each nail after applying the polish. The magnetic effect is really obvious and totally gorgeous. The combination of flakes and shimmer from the magnet make this a standout. I love the inky, grapey base. It's such a vibrant and juicy purple!
Application Notes from Girly Bits: I recommend applying one coat and not magnetizing it, and letting it dry down. Then apply a second coat and magnetize it by holding a strong magnet as close to the surface of the nail as possible, for 10 seconds. Do this one nail at a time. The magnet needs to be used on very wet polish to allow the magnetic particles to move through the polish and get the full effect. I also like to magnetize again right after applying top coat since top coat can briefly soften the polish again.
