It's almost time for another Polish Pickup. The theme starting off 2019 is Mythology and there's another change for the New Year: the Indie Pickup and Polish Pickup are once again happening all at the same time. So, now you can buy polish and bath bombs, wax melt, keychains and whatever else the makers have in store for $5 flat rate shipping to Canada or $3 to the US (and at cost for international). Enough about that, how about this beautiful polish by My Indie Polish?
My Indie Polish Jackalope ($13 USD, 15 mL) is a soft thermal that shifts and sparkles. This elusive and mysterious polish shares its name with the Jackalope, an elusive a mysterious creature. In it’s cold state it’s a very dark burgundy with tons of tiny colour-shifting flakies and it’s warm state it’s a beautiful shifty pinky taupe. There is a pink shimmer that's evident in both states. I am wearing three thin coats plus top coat. I think this is a stunning polish that is both sophisticated and mystical. The shimmer is outstanding and the teeny tiny flakes which Tanya ground by hand are mesmerizing.
Each month Polish Pickup will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme voted on by the people a month or two in advance. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and stays open for four days, through the following Monday at Midnight EST. This is the ONLY time frame in which the polishes will be available for purchase.
