Some polishes were provided for review but their inclusion in this top 10 is my personal opinion

Top Polishes of 2018 by Streets Ahead Style

Okay, so bye 2018. This year was weird and kind of bad and hard but I am here and most of those I love most are still here so I guess it wasn't the absolute worst. (I lost my Grandad who was basically my Dad). But, the end of the year means sharing my favorite polishes of 2018 with all of you! I had a hard time choosing polishes this year because I loved so many. And these are in no particular order. And these are just the polishes I wore in 2018... I have many gorgeous polishes in my untrieds that I imagine I would have loved had I wore them.

Hey, I would love to hear which polishes that you loved most this year. Maybe you can convince me to add them to my collection in 2019 ;)

Beyond the Nail Cherry Beach swatch by Streets Ahead Style

Beyond the Nail Cherry Beach was a lovely Indie Expo Canada 2018 exclusive in the VIP bag. It's the perfect nude for me with a twist.

KBShimmer Hakuna Moscato swatch by Streets Ahead Style

KBShimmer Hakuna Moscato was an incredibly reflective and sparkly sheerish polish from the Wanderlust Collection in the Summer. There is something really exciting about this polish and Riley has worn it a few time since receiving it.

Girly Bits The FoMo is Real swatch by Streets Ahead Style

Girly Bits The FoMo is Real is also from IEC 2018 and it combines two of my favorite colours into a thermal that also has iridescent flakes. Yes, please.

Colores de Carol The Gifted Stone swatch by Streets Ahead Style

Colores de Carol The Gifted Stone was a Polish Pickup find from January (I think) and this blue blew me away.

Glam Polish E Komo Mai swatch by Streets Ahead Style

Glam Polish E Komo Mai stands out as one of the most unique polishes I wore in 2018... the flakes in that shade of purple base were perfection.

BLUSH Lacquers Tropical Escape swatch by Streets Ahead Style

Keeping with the tropical theme is BLUSH Lacquers Tropical Escape. A hands down favorite from before I even put it on my nails. And then once I had it on my nails, I couldn't keep my eyes off it.

Paint It Pretty Polish Unicorn in Disguise swatch by Streets Ahead Style

Paint It Pretty Polish Unicorn in Disguise stands out vividly for 2018. This thermal is basically my dream nail polish (in its warm state) and then it turns purple and I love me some purple.

My Indie Polish Teal Next Year swatch by Streets Ahead Style

My Indie Polish Teal Next Year mixes a beautiful teal base with gorgeous colour-shifting flakes in a way that only Tanya could. Absolute stunner, this one was.

Girly Bits Pegasussed swatch by Streets Ahead Style

Girly Bits Pegasussed was one of the August CoTM and one of my most favorite purples ever with the most gorgeous accents. I love everything about this polish.

Polish 'M Oh Pal, What a Gem swatch by Streets Ahead Style

And last but definitely not least is Polish 'M Oh Pal, What a Gem because opals and white and baby iridescent flakes and holo. The end.
