The theme this month for the Polish Pickup is Album Covers and I am so happy because I have been nominating these theme for over a year! And judging by the polishes I have been sent to swatch and what other bloggers have shown, this month is going to AMAZING. Here is Girly Bits' contribution which is an absolute stunner inspired by Temple of the Dog.
In Pam's words: "I was inspired by Temple of the Dog which is a blend of several amazing artists from the ‘90’s grunge era, and features one of my favourite singers; Chris Cornell. I regret never having the opportunity to see him in concert. Cornell wrote Say Hello 2 Heaven as a tribute to his roommate, Mother Love Bone vocalist Andrew Wood who at the time had recently died. Little did we know that it would also end up memorializing Chris Cornell himself."
Girly Bits Say Hello 2 Heaven is a vibrant purple with heavy violet undertones, accented with purple and blue shimmer, gold flakes, and colour shifting flakes in purple/blue. Such a stunning and vibrant polish - the purple saturation is ridiculous. The formula was amazing as to be expected with a flawless application in two coats and top coat for maximum shine. At some angles this looks blue which is such a cool effect. I don't have anything at all like this in my collection. Pam also nailed the inspiration which is included below. Awesome tribute!

Each month, The Pickups will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme chosen by customers. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and the shop stays open for four days through the following Monday at Midnight EST. The polishes and items are exclusive to The Pickups for each month.
All products are pre-ordered (capped or uncapped) and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. The Pickups ship for a flat fee of $3 in the US and $5 to Canada. Shipping to European countries is available through The Pickups UK website. The Pickups will combine orders placed over the four day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
