I love that Disney is remaking so many classic movies from my childhood. Lion King is one of the most recent remakes and I can't wait to see how it's been re-imagined for a new audience in 2019. Paint It Pretty Polish has created a new collection of multi-chrome polishes inspired by The Lion King. The Hakuna Matata Collection will debut at Indie Expo Canada and leftovers will be available on the Paint It Pretty Polish website on August 23. A restock is planned for mid-September if the polishes sell out so you will be able to get your hands on these (and then these polishes onto your nails) one way or another!
The Paint It Pretty Polish Hakuna Matata Collection will be available for $11 CAD each. In terms of application, all polishes applied beautifully in two coats (plus top coat). These are opaque! Try not to work the polish too much so as to avoid any streaks. Overall, excellent formulas on all the multi-chromes and a great collection with lots of different shifts. All photos show two coats plus top coat.
Paint It Pretty Polish You Gotta Put Your Behind In Your Past is a violet/red/orange/gold multichrome with shifting aurora shimmer.
Paint It Pretty Polish Not The Birdy Boiler is a teal/blue/purple/magenta multichrome with aurora shimmer.
Paint It Pretty Polish I Laugh In The Face Of Danger is a red/copper/gold multichrome with a holo finish and holo microflakes.
Paint It Pretty Polish Fireflies Stuck Up In That Blueish Black Thing is a dark blue/purple multichrome with a holo finish and holo microflakes.
Paint It Pretty Polish Life's Not Fair is a cyan/blue/purple multichrome with a holo finish and holo microflakes.
Paint It Pretty Polish They Call Me Mr. Piiiig is a pink/purple/blue/copper multichrome with a holo finish and holo microflakes.
Paint It Pretty Polish Remember Who You Are is a yellow/green/blue multichrome with aurora shimmer.
I have to say that I love this collection but my absolutely must-haves are Paint It Pretty Polish I Laugh In The Face Of Danger and Fireflies Stuck Up In That Blueish Black Thing. Will you be adding any of these to your shopping list for Indie Expo Canada?
