Provided for review

BLUSH Lacquers has become a prolific producer of excellent creme polishes. Their latest collection is no exception. This time around BLUSH Lacquers is offering an all-new buttery smooth formula for The Film Noir Collection.  Film Noir Collection features easy-to-apply cremes in a black to white grayscale color scheme. Victoria was inspired by the classic American genre of black and white film noir movies known for their bold and contrasting lighting effects, framing angles and tales of murder and mystery.

The BLUSH Lacquers Film Noir Collection uses a new creme formulation that more closely mimics a mainstream creme feel and consistency instead of the brands normal high gloss cremes with a squishy jelly-like consistency. These have a much higher pigment to base ratio meaning that most will find they can get full coverage in one coat with no streaking, perfect self-levelling and a medium gloss finish. These look amazing with a glossy top coat (of course) or BLUSH Lacquers' Matterial Girl Matte Top Coat which I show below. All of these polishes are perfect in one coat - including the white! I am blown away by how truly wonderful and buttery the formulas are.

Let's start with the incredible one-coat black creme: BLUSH Lacquers A Dangerous Woman. This is a seductive patent leather true black creme nail polish. BLUSH notes that they have noticed some slight staining with A Dangerous Woman however, I did not experience this when I swatched without a base coat. But, do use a base coat to be safe!

BLUSH Lacquers Flashback is a stone cold steel grey creme nail polish.

BLUSH Lacquers Lamplight Flicker is a soft, foggy grey creme nail polish.

Light A Lucky Strike is a medium smoky grey creme nail polish.

BLUSH Lacquers The Private Eye is a mysterious charcoal grey creme nail polish.

BLUSH Lacquers Venetian Blinds is a stark, bright white creme nail polish.

BLUSH Lacquers Matterial Girl is a matte top coat that adds a lovely satin-matte finish to your manicure. I absolutely love the flow and formula of this matte topper. I also love how it maintains a slightly satin-y finish. It takes about 90 seconds to achieve its final finish. Love it!
