Look at her go! Paint It Pretty Polish has another new collection for us. September's release is the Fall Toppers Collection which includes eight beautifully brilliant flakie toppers that work well on their own, layered over a base colour or built up in three coats. I will provide my review up front as I applied all of the polishes in the same way: three coats on my index finger, two coats of the topper over black on my middle finger and one coat over black on my ring and pinky fingers. I found the formula to be easy to work with and very smooth. When wearing the toppers in three coats, it's best to let each layer dry well before moving onto the next so as to prevent any dragging of the flakes. These bottles are packed with flakes so you don't want to rush the application process. With just one coat of quick drying top coat, I was able to achieve a very smooth and glossy finish. There was no texture once the top coat dried down. The flakes are very shifty and catch the light beautifully. This is a beautiful collection and at $11 CAD (~$8.50 USD) a bottle... they are, quite honestly, a steal!

Paint It Pretty Polish Top Me Up ($11 CAD | 15 mL) is a bronze/gold colour shifting flakie topper. What a rich and golden set of flakes in here. I particularly loved this one layered in one coat over black. I think I might even try it over a gold polish as my base to amp it up even more. Beautiful for fall!
Paint It Pretty Polish All Topped Up ($11 CAD | 15 mL) is a purple/red/gold colour shifting flakie nail polish topper. This one is a slight departure from the previous topper as it still has gold but the red and purple are really visible as well. Another beauty over black but I am thinking next time I might do something wild like layer it over a lilac. I found these flakes to be very small which I love and I think it lends itself nicely to a subtle layering look.
Paint It Pretty Polish Topping Around ($11 CAD | 15 mL) is a blue/purple/magenta colour shifting flake filled nail polish topper. Another amazing shifty set of flakes coming together to create a very dramatic look over black. I can't wait to try this over dark purples or navy blues.
Paint It Pretty Polish Off the Top ($11 CAD | 15 mL) is a teal/purple/red colour shifting flakie nail polish topper. I think this is my favourite! I just love that classic multichrome shift of teal and purple. This one was particularly opaque on its own which was nice. I super love it over black!
Paint It Pretty Polish Over the Top ($11 CAD | 15 mL) is a violet/red/gold/green colour shifting flakie nail polish topper. I love, love, love this combination of colour shifts as well. These flakes felt a little bit bigger than some of the other toppers and I liked that. Lots of shifts in this topper and I imagine it would look fantastic over an orange creme.
Paint It Pretty Polish Topped Off ($11 CAD | 15 mL) is a violet/purple/pink/gold colour shifting flakie nail polish topper. Another favourite! Honestly, do not sleep on these toppers. I don't even know how or why Sherri is selling them at just $11 CAD but I think that means you have permission to buy them all! This was another topper with tiny little flakes that look beautiful on a bare nail or over a soft baby pink.
Paint It Pretty Polish Top of the Morning ($11 CAD | 15 mL) is a green/blue/purple/red colour shifting flakie nail polish topper. How Irish! This one does have green but you also get a lot of teal and purple in the shift. This one also has the tiny little baby flakes I love so much. I really liked this one on its own but it looks beautiful layered.
Paint It Pretty Polish Put Your Top On ($11 CAD | 15 mL) is a yellow/green/blue colour shifting flakie nail polish topper. This is the greenest one in the bunch! The blue is also very visible and pretty. This one looks amazing over green and I think it would also be awesome over navy blue or even a deep forest green.
Are you a fan of toppers? I think this collection is particularly versatile as you can layer as much or as little as you like and the flakes look amazing as sparse or as dense as you see fit. I honestly think I will wear these a lot in a single coat over a sheer base or just on my bare nail. They are so delicate and pretty! Let me know you think in the comments.
