I am so happy to be sharing two nail polishes which will be available in the June 2020 Polish Pickup. June's theme is Cocktails and Mocktails which is making me all kinds of thirsty for a delicious fruity drink. I don't drink alcohol but I can definitely get behind a nice mocktail. There are some seriously gorgeous nail polishes for this month and the two polishes I have for your viewing pleasure are both from Canadian brands: Girly Bits and Paint It Pretty Polish.

Paint It Pretty Polish Purple Rain ($12 USD | 15 mL | 3 coats | 70 US/5 UK cap) is a grey (hot) to purple (cold) thermal with a golden/pink magnetic shimmer and microflakes. I love love love this one! The shimmer is super intense PLUS it's a thermal PLUS it's magnetic. I used a neodymium magnet and got a pretty strong line effect which was visible in both the cold and warm states. The formula is wonderful: buttery, smooth and opaque. I used three coats but you could probably get away with two coats especially if you don't plan to magnetize it (BTW it looks great even without a magnet applied).
Girly Bits My Nink & My Drails ($13 USD | 15 mL | 3 coats | no cap | 5-free | cruelty free) is a popsicle pink packed with a strong blue shimmer and blue multi-chrome flakes. This mesmerizing shade first appears to be a bright fuchsia then suddenly displays shades of violet blue and azure blue. Honestly, this polish is magical! I love it for summer and it looks amazing in the sunshine and especially the shade. Despite the super strong shimmer, the flakes really stand out. Buttery smooth formula and easy, peasy application.
Each month, The Pickups will bring you a variety of polishes and handmade items from indie makers based on a theme chosen by customers. The Pickups are live the first Friday at 11 AM EST of each month and the shop stays open for four days through the following Monday at Midnight EST. The polishes and items are exclusive to The Pickups for each month.
All products are pre-ordered (capped or uncapped) and will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement. The Pickups ship for a flat fee of $3 in the US and discounted shipping to Canada starting at $6 USD. Shipping to European countries is available through The Pickups UK website. The Pickups will combine orders placed over the four day sale period. This will happen automatically when shipping begins and you will then receive your shipping overage refunds.
